UNIUYO International Secondary School (UISS) was established in 2021, born from a vision conceived by Professor Enefiok E. Essien, SAN, then Vice Chancellor of the University of Uyo. From the outset, the school was designed to be more than an institution — a launchpad.
Under the subsequent leadership of Professor Nyaudoh Ndaeyo as Vice Chancellor, UISS experienced significant infrastructural development and steady growth in both staff strength and student enrolment. The school’s pioneer Board Chairperson is Professor Enoidem B. Usoro, and its pioneer Principal was Dr Uduak Anwana.
Today, UISS stands as a distinguished secondary institution on the University of Uyo Annex Campus, serving learners from across Nigeria and beyond.
Prof. Enoidem B. Usoro is an accomplished professor of Business Education and Chairperson of the School Board. She brings extensive experience in academic leadership, educational administration, curriculum development and institutional governance.
